A mission-driven, high-volume community teaching hospital in Queens, NY, affiliated with a nationally recognized academic medical school, is seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist to join a growing program serving a diverse, urban, and underserved patient population.
This is a faculty opportunity that combines inpatient consults and outpatient oncology/hematology care, with a strong multidisciplinary environment and opportunities to participate in teaching and clinical research.
Position Highlights
Full-time, on-site role in Queens, NY
Schedule: MondayFriday (84 or 95)
Practice mix: outpatient clinic + inpatient consult service
Outpatient: ~3.5 clinic days/week
Inpatient: ~2 weeks/month consults (on average)
On-site Radiation Oncology and strong specialty collaboration
Supported program with physicians/APPs plus oncology social work, navigation, nutrition, genetics, and research support
Faculty appointment through the academic affiliate (commensurate with credentials)
Call
Typically ~1 weeknight/week of call per month + ~1 weekend per month
Qualifications
MD/DO
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
NYS medical license
Comfortable treating hematologic malignancies, coagulation disorders, and solid tumors
