    Duke University Health System and Duke Cancer Institute are seeking a BE/BC Hematologist-Oncologist to join our growing cancer program at Duke Health Lake Norman in Mooresville, North Carolina. This opportunity offers a unique combination of academic affiliation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the ability to build a thriving, regionally based practice while maintaining access to Duke Health's nationally recognized expertise and resources.

    Opportunity Highlights

    • Hospital-based cancer center
    • Monday through Friday schedule
    • Typical patient volume of 15-20 patients per day
    • Develop a general Hematology-Oncology practice with the opportunity to pursue a clinical area of special interest
    • Collaborative multidisciplinary environment supported by Duke specialists and subspecialty resources
    • Opportunity to help grow and shape oncology services in a rapidly expanding market
    • Access to Duke Cancer Institutes Programs and Services

    Collaborative Care Model

    This physician will work closely with:

    • Duke Health System oncologists
    • Advanced Practice Providers
    • Specialty pharmacy services
    • Duke Cancer Institutes Supportive Care team
    • Experienced nursing and clinical support teams

    The program is designed to provide comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care through an integrated multidisciplinary model that emphasizes collaboration, clinical excellence, and access to advanced treatments.

    Candidate Qualifications

    • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
    • Comfortable treating a broad spectrum of malignant and benign hematology and medical oncology conditions
    • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
    • Strong interest in continuous learning and multidisciplinary collaboration
    • Desire to build long-term relationships with patients and referring providers
