Job Description:
As an HVAC Technician, your primary role will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems. You will also support basic industrial electrical repairs such as replacing light fixtures, ballasts, outlets, and switches to ensure proper functionality.
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Address plumbing issues by repairing leaks, clearing clogged drains, and maintaining fixtures in restrooms and kitchens.
- Carry out regular building inspections to identify and resolve potential structural, mechanical, and safety issues.
- Respond to and resolve building and machine maintenance repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Install, repair, and perform PMs to HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems.
- Inspect and test HVAC systems and components for any problems.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system longevity.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
- Working knowledge of boiler systems.
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Basic understanding of industrial electrical and controls.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
