A day in the shop

On any given shift you might be torquing fasteners on a drivetrain one hour and watching an overhead crane position a genset skid the next. If your strengths lean mechanical, you’ll contribute to building engines, transmissions, and full equipment packages. If you’re wired for electrical, you’ll commission, maintain, and troubleshoot power systems across low, medium, and high voltages.

Assembler I — what you’ll tackle

  • Mechanical assembly of large equipment and industrial machinery (engines, generators, drivetrains, transmissions, and similar systems)
  • Interpret blueprints and work instructions to sequence builds
  • Use hand and power tools confidently; apply measuring and calibration tools for fit-up and verification
  • Contribute in a manufacturing/industrial production setting with a strong safety mindset

Electrical Technician I — what you’ll tackle

  • Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems
  • Work across low, medium, and high-voltage equipment
  • Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Perform electrical testing, calibration, and root-cause troubleshooting with a safety-first approach

  • Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment
  • Preference given to experience on large industrial equipment over small electronics assembly

Compensation

  • Assembler I (Temporary): $16.00–$18.00/hr
  • Electrical Technician I: $24.00–$28.00/hr
