Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical training or coursework in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance fields is a plus
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows applications

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of machine operation, mechanical, manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial equipment experience
• Experience working with mechanical systems such as motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, or process equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience operating large production equipment preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment quickly
• Experience with extrusion equipment is a plus
• Electrical troubleshooting knowledge is beneficial
• Self-motivated and adaptable in a changing production environment
• Good math skills and ability to perform basic calculations
• Experience using hand tools and industrial equipment

Physical Capabilities

• Stand and walk for up to 90% of the shift
• Frequently bend, reach, squat, climb stairs, and access elevated catwalks
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work around high noise levels, hot equipment, and varying temperatures
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts after training

Job Duties

• Set up, modify, and tear down production equipment to meet product testing requirements
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issues
• Make mechanical adjustments to achieve required product specifications
• Conduct equipment inspections and support process improvements
• Safely operate large-scale manufacturing machinery
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support pilot plant operations
• Maintain accurate records and follow safety and quality procedures
