Heavy Equipment Technician - Norcross, GA

Position Overview

Our client is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join their service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of construction and heavy equipment. We are open to technicians with experience across different manufacturers and equipment types.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues
• Service a variety of construction and compact equipment
• Operate equipment as needed to diagnose and verify repairs
• Complete quality repairs while maintaining a strong focus on customer service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing or repairing heavy equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs
• Experience with construction equipment is preferred
• Experience with different equipment manufacturers is welcome
• Ability to operate heavy equipment or willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts
• Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
• Overtime may be available based on business needs
