Pay: $18.00+/hour DOE
Schedule:
MondayFriday: 5:30 AM until finished (typically 2:00 PM4:00 PM)
Saturdays: 5:00 AM until finished (typically 10:00 AM12:00 PM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move raw materials, maintain production flow, and support daily plant operations. Candidates must have prior experience operating larger earth-moving equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong safety mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate heavy equipment to transport and move materials throughout the facility.
Operate equipment efficiently while following all safety procedures.
Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections.
Assist with material handling and production support as needed.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Perform general labor duties when equipment operation is not required.
Qualifications:
Experience operating one or more of the following is required:
-Dozer
-Scraper
-Front-End Loader
-Motor Grader
Experience operating a combination of the above equipment is highly preferred.
Experience operating only backhoes or skid steers does not qualify for this position.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong work ethic with reliable attendance.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent climbing, standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods while operating equipment.
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather and industrial conditions.
Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
