As a Heavy Equipment Operator, youll be key to supporting the preparation and segregation of organic mixes, ensuring smooth production processes. Youll work closely with your team to keep operations running efficiently and safely.
What Youll Do
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for:
Preparing organic mixes by operating loaders and other heavy equipment
Pushing piles to segregate materials effectively
Placing materials into shakers to maintain continuous flow
Maintaining stockpile slopes to promote a safe work environment
Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as loaders and dozers
Ability to maintain stockpile slopes for safety
Comfort working in dusty, hot, and cold environments
Physical ability to sit in and climb into equipment repeatedly
Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures
Effective communication skills in English or following instructions
Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays
