Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to
join our team in Lockport, NY. The ideal Technician will have a strong
background in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of construction and agricultural equipment,
ensuring machinery safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair various types of heavy
equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, asphalt equipment, AG tractors, harvest equipment etc.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive
services on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and
hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and
address potential problems before they lead to equipment failure.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment,
adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
performed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and
hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a
team.
- Excellent communication and customer service
skills.
- Must have your own set of tools
- Valid driver’s license.
- Employment subjected to a pre-employment check.

Shift:
Days, 7:30AM to 5:00PM Monday to Friday. Should be flexible to work OT on the occasional Saturday 7:30AM - 12 noon.
