Heavy Equipment Mechanic

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work at our Levy Brandenburg Mill Services location in Brandenburg, KY. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic performs all functions pertaining to the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty off-road construction equipment. This position allows for career progression into a Lead Man or Maintenance Manager.

Pay: $26.00 + per hour (based on experience) - $2.00 an hour shift differential

Shift/Schedule: 4 days on/ 3 days off

• Comply with all safety regulations, policies, and record-keeping
• Dismantle and reassemble trucks, machines, and equipment to gain access to the problem area
• Maintain work area to allow safe movement and access
• Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
• Read schematics
• Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot malfunctions
• Weld, cut, and fabricate equipment and components
• Meet customer service expectations
