About the Job:
The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing company equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Order parts and supplies as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
This is a safety-sensitive role that requires strict adherence to all company safety protocols and standards.
Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in equipment or vehicle maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- Valid driver's license. Proficient in English for communication, following highway signs, and completing reports.
- CDL driving experience from military service accepted.
