We are hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians for a heavy industrial manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, MI.
This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position in a hot, dirty, and loud manufacturing environment. Technicians will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining large industrial machinery, including furnaces, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated equipment.
We are looking for mechanically skilled maintenance technicians or millwrights who can diagnose equipment problems, perform repairs independently, and keep production equipment running safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and repair heavy industrial manufacturing equipment.
Maintain industrial furnaces, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated loaders.
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications.
Complete preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
Troubleshoot electrical controls, sensors, switches, and PLC-related issues.
Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment diagrams.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures and document maintenance work.
2+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience preferred.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Experience repairing motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, or industrial machinery.
Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting preferred.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
Must have personal tools.
Must be comfortable working in a hot, dirty, and loud industrial environment.
Must be available for overtime and weekend work as needed.
Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience preferred. This is not a residential maintenance or HVAC position.
Pay: $21–$35 per hour, based on experience.
All shifts hiring.
