We are currently seeking a highly motivated Heavy Equipment Lube Technician to join our team of expert mechanics in Conroe, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside some of the best in the industry and earn a top wage with a comprehensive compensation package.

As a member of our team, you will carry out hands-on repair work both in our shop and out in the field. You will be responsible for maintaining records to ensure regulatory compliance and equipment management. You will also have the opportunity to analyze equipment to estimate the extent and nature of servicing and repairs required. Plus, you'll have the chance to perform the duties of a heavy equipment mechanic when required, and remove and replace components without supervision. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining mobile machinery, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.

  • Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to tractors, trailers, forklifts, and power tools.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.
  • Applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
  • Label filters with date/service hours/your initials
  • Obtain oil samples as required by each customers request
  • Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
  • Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
  • Thoroughly inspecting customers' machines for oil leaks.
  • Check over machine for any lights/back up alarms that may need to be changed

Experience

  • Previous experience in preventive maintenance and maintaining equipment such as heavy equipment machines, tractors, trailers, forklifts, and power tools.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanic skills for performing maintenance and repairs on equipment.
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license. *Must have and maintain clean driving record
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
