A leading distributor of pipeline products and services is seeking a Heavy Forklift Operator to manage large-scale material movements. The ideal candidate has experience moving large valves and a strong focus on safety. Location: Houston, TX 77073 Type of Position:Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
Operate a 26k lb capacity forklift to move heavy industrial materials throughout the facility.
Safely transport large valves, pipe sections, steel components, and fabricated assemblies.
Load and unload trucks in accordance with shipping/receiving procedures.
Inspect materials for damage prior to movement and report any discrepancies.
Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols at all times.
Properly stage materials for production, assembly, and outbound shipment.
Assist with general warehouse/shop duties as needed.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and production teams to coordinate material flow.
Maintain forklift equipment through daily inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Ensure accurate placement and organization of materials to support workflow efficiency.
Requirements:
Experience moving large valves; experience moving modified valves is required
