Heavy Equipment Field Technician - East Atlanta

Our client is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to join their service team. This position is responsible for traveling to customer locations to diagnose, service, and repair a variety of heavy and compact equipment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field and has strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform service and repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service
• Repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Service a variety of heavy and compact equipment
• Operate equipment as needed to diagnose and verify repairs
• Work from a company service truck
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues and completed repairs
• Work independently while coordinating with the service team

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing or repairing heavy equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs
• Experience with construction equipment is preferred
• Comfortable traveling to customer locations
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work effectively with customers and team members

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts
• Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
• Overtime may be available based on business needs
