Why this role

What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair: articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, bucket trucks, platforms, conveyors, trucks, and trailers.
- Execute preventive maintenance, Annual DOT inspections, and warranty service per schedule.
- Respond to emergency/unscheduled issues and perform repairs during working and non-working hours.
- Communicate repair needs and findings to the Shop Service Manager.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation: estimates, work order authorizations, parts ordering/recording, labor entry, and inventory tracking.
- Comply with all state and federal safety regulations; maintain a safe, orderly, and clean workspace.
What you’ll bring
- High School diploma or GED and ~3 years of mechanical experience/training with an emphasis on articulating cranes and forklifts.
- Proficiency across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; strong diagnostics/troubleshooting and welding skills.
- Basic Windows-based computer skills; independent, proactive, and resourceful work style.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 75+ lbs for extended periods.
- Comfort with inside/outside environments, noise, vibration, oils, and shop hazards.
- English language proficiency—read, write, and speak.
- Bring your own hand tools; PALFINGER supplies proprietary tools.
Compensation & benefits
- $32–$40 per hour, depending on experience.
