Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic-FIELD Position

As a Diesel Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various types & brands of Heavy Equipment and DIESEL engines. We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, & SKILLED Class-A Heavy Equipment Diesel FIELD Mechanic to join our team.

As a Diesel Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various types & brands of Heavy Equipment and DIESEL engines. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform routine maintenance on Heavy Equipment and diesel engines (including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks)- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with Heavy Equipment, diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems- Conduct inspections to identify faulty parts or components that need repair or replacement- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose problems accurately- Repair or replace defective parts, hydraulics, hydrostatic drives, brakes, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of diesel engines and Heavy Equipment- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performedREQUIRED SKILLS:- Strong knowledge of diesel engines- Must be a Class-A DIESEL MECHANIC- It is preferred that you have experience working (or at least training) at a dealership- Strong knowledge of Heavy Equipment repair & maintenance- Must have experience in diagnosing & troubleshooting mechanical issues in Diesel powered engines & Heavy Equipment- Must have experience in diagnosing & repairing electrical issues in Diesel powered engines & Heavy Equipment- Must have experience in diagnosing HVAC systems in Diesel powered engines & Heavy Equipment- Must have a strong knowledge of hydraulic systems in Diesel powered engines & Heavy Equipment- Must  be experienced in both DIAGNOSING and REPAIRING not only different types of Heavy Equipment, but also with different brands of Heavy Equipment  AND Diesel engines- Must have at least 2 year's experience and training SCHEDULE:8 hour shift -- FULL TIMEMonday to FridayWork Location: In person position (working in the field)REQUIREMENTS:- OVER 21-years of age- VALID driver’s license- GOOD driving record- Since this is a FIELD repair position, you MUST have your OWN SET of TOOLSPAY:This position starts at: $30/hr. - $40/hr.  (Depending on your experience level)BENEFITS: (Available after completion of Temp period)- 401(k)- 401(k) matching- Dental insurance- Health insurance- Paid time off- Vision insuranceMust pass a pre-employment drug test and background check BEFORE starting workTEL Staffing complies with regulations enforced by the EEOC.
