    Job Description: Heavy Equipment Dealership Shop Technician
    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Technician to join our team at our client, a locally based heavy equipment dealership group. As a Shop Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment used in agriculture, construction, and other industries.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and engines.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment remains operational and reliable.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify solutions in an efficient and timely manner.
    • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint equipment issues.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate service records.
    • Ensure work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide updates on equipment status.
    • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest technologies and repair methods.

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.
    • Previous experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair is highly desirable.
    • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
    • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
