Heavy Duty Machine Operator

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Operate heavy-duty production machinery and forklifts.
• Work in an environment where scrap metal is melted down and formed into metal pipes.
• Safely handle and move products weighing approximately 3,800–4,500 lbs. using appropriate equipment.
• Move products between departments for additional processing and forming.
• Follow strict safety procedures around extreme heat, heavy machinery, hot metal, and moving equipment.
• Previous heavy industrial, metal processing, steel, foundry, or similar manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Forklift and heavy-machine operating experience required.
• Must be comfortable working in an extremely hot and physically demanding environment.
• Must be mature-minded, safety-conscious, dependable, and capable of making good decisions without constant supervision.
• Stable work history preferred.
