We are seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics to
join our dynamic team in Seattle, WA, specializing in the repair and
maintenance of yard mulls, forklifts, rail movers, and container handlers. As a
crucial member of our maintenance crew, you will play a key role in ensuring
the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues
and perform repairs on yard mulls, forklifts, rail movers, container handlers,
and other industrial equipment.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, and
inspections, to ensure equipment longevity and performance.
- Investigate and resolve complex mechanical and
electrical problems efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
- Replace faulty or worn-out components.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs,
inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct test drives after repairs to validate
the effectiveness of the maintenance work and ensure equipment meets
operational standards.
Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of diesel engines,
hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to
identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Able to weld and fabricate.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
and work in various weather conditions.
- Must have your own set of tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean
MVR.
- Should be able to clear a criminal record check
and drug screen.
Compensation:
$35 - $45/hr. plus
bonus, comprehensive benefits including Dental, Health, Vision, and Matching
401K.
Shift:
Days, 7:00 AM –
3:30 PM Monday thru Friday. Lots of OT available and paid after 8 hours daily.
