We have Several Immediate Full-time positions available for Experienced Diesel Mechanics in Long Island City, NY. Technicians will maintain and repair various fleet and customer vehicles, including semis, dump trucks, box trucks, flatbeds, trailers, and Reefer trucks.

Shift:
Day & Afternoon shifts available:
- Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
- Afternoons: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance services
- Maintain work area safety
- Conduct diesel repairs, service, and diagnostics
- Service customers and handle road calls
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions
- Work with minimal supervision
- Inspect trucks for proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance
- Inspect, test, and diagnose defective equipment
- Repair major components (engine, transmission, differentials)
- Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of diesel/automotive mechanic experience
- Strong diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills
- Diesel Mechanic/Technical training
- ASE certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have your own set of tools
- Must pass pre-employment checks (Criminal Record, Drug Screening, MVR)
