Description

Step Into the Shop: A Day in the Life

You clock in, pull on your NFI-issued PPE, and roll your toolbox to a clean, well-equipped bay. A tractor rolls in with an ABS light—JPRO is already booted on your workstation. You run OEM Diagnostic Software, confirm the fault, and make a precise repair. Next up: a preventive maintenance service on a road-tested tractor & trailer, followed by a DOT inspection to FMCSA standards. Between jobs, you swap notes with teammates, update work orders, and lend a hand where needed. Before you head out, you schedule an ASE study session—on NFI’s dime—and check tomorrow’s line-up. Another productive day keeping a dedicated fleet safe and road-ready.
