Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to lead a team of Technicians in repairing and maintaining Class 8 trucks and heavy equipment for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.

Total compensation is based on experience and ranges from $75k/yr-$90k/yr.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform general repairs on all parts of Class 8 trucks and trailers
Troubleshoot and repair the electrical systems, aftertreatment systems, and hydraulic systems
Rebuild Cummins engines
Lead and train technicians
Welding and fabrication as needed.
Make recommendations for process system improvements.

Qualifications

Must have leadership experience
Must have experience with engine rebuilds
Must have strong welding and fabrication skills.
Must be highly self-motivated and a team player
