Heavy Construction Estimator
Michael Page is hiring for a company in the property industry based in New York.
Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy construction projects, including highways, bridges, environmental, and site development projects. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines. Research and evaluate costs of materials, labor, and equipment for accurate budgeting. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes and adjustments. Present and justify cost estimates to stakeholders and leadership teams. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all cost estimation processes.
