HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC
GENERAL ROLES AND RESPOSIBILITIES (R&Rs)
Implement preventative maintenance program for site based heavy duty construction and paving equipment and haulage trucks Ensure that equipment and machinery in good working order and defects noted to Project Manager / Project Superintendent Prepare list for maintenance and spare parts as required Responsible for stock control of equipment spares, consumables, etc. Maintain and secure work tools Cleaning and maintenance of work area and stores Ensure that equipment maintenance and repairs works carried out in a safe manner Night shift working within live airfield environment may be required Travel between project locations within US as required The above R&Rs are those generally required of an Equipment Mechanic, but more specific duties may be required and assigned as Project requirements dictate |
