Heavy Civil Quality Control Manager

 

Our client, a well-established heavy civil contractor, is hiring a Quality Control Manager for a large project in the Eagle Pass, TX area. You'll own the quality program on site and make sure the work is built to plan, spec and contract.

 

What you'll do:

- Develop and implement project quality control procedures and plans

- Lead inspections and audits, and track non-conformances through corrective action

- Review plans, specifications and submittals for compliance

- Train project teams on quality requirements

- Monitor quality metrics throughout the project and report to leadership

 

What we're looking for:

- 10+ years in construction quality control

- At least 2 federal design-build projects and at least 2 projects of $10M or more

- Heavy civil experience strongly preferred

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field

- Quality certifications such as CQM or CQE are a plus

- Able to obtain a security clearance

- Willing to travel to project sites as needed

 

Compensation:

- Salary of $125,000 to $135,000, based on experience
