Heavy Civil QC Manager - Asphalt Plant Production

Location: Washington DC metro

Position Overview

Our client, an established heavy civil contractor, is looking for a Quality Control Manager to lead QC for asphalt plant production.

Responsibilities

• Run the QC program for asphalt plant production
• Oversee sampling, testing and mix design compliance
• Keep testing records and reports for DOT and private work
• Work with plant, paving and project teams to fix quality issues
• Train and lead QC technicians

Qualifications

• 5+ years of asphalt QC experience, plant production preferred
• Knowledge of state DOT specs and testing procedures
• Relevant QC/QA certifications a plus
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Compensation

• Base salary: $100,000 - $115,000
• Strong benefits package
• Permanent, long-term role
