Our client, an established heavy civil contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, is looking for a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support underground utility and wastewater projects. Our client, an established heavy civil contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, is looking for a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support underground utility and wastewater projects.

 

What You'll Do

- Support Project Managers on underground utility, wastewater and water infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout

- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders and project documentation

- Help track schedules, budgets, quantities and subcontractor progress

- Coordinate with field crews, owners, engineers and inspectors

- Assist with pay applications, cost reports and project closeout

 

What We're Looking For

- 2-4 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer or APM in heavy civil construction

- Hands-on experience with underground utilities and wastewater projects

- Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) experience strongly preferred

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred

- Strong communication and organization skills, and a drive to grow into a Project Manager role
