As a Heavy Civil Estimator, you have a deep background in civil construction and are proficient at developing estimates for development, moving dirt and pipe, and road building, You understand the nuances of the variables at play that affect the flow and timing of the project.
Skills and Experience Needed for the Heavy Civil Estimator at our client:
At least 4 years of experience as a Heavy Civil Estimator
Experience with industry estimating software: AGTEK, B2W, HeavyBid (HCSS), or InEight (Hard Dollar)
Knowledge of codes and specifications regulating civil construction methods and materials from all applicable governing bodies such as FDOT, COJ, OSHA, JEA, etc.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Word
High patience, attention to detail, and focus on compliance
