Experienced Heating & Plumbing Service Technician
Location: Juneau, AK
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, technical-minded Service Technician with 3–5+ years of experience in the heating and/or plumbing industry to join our client’s tight-knit team in Juneau, Alaska. In our Service Department, we handle critical residential service calls across the community—including no-heat emergencies, no-hot-water calls, water pipe leaks, and complex system troubleshooting.
We are looking for a true craftsman—someone who excels at diagnostic troubleshooting, presents clear repair and replacement options, and delivers an exceptional, honest customer experience without being a pushy salesperson. Our leadership team prides itself on active, hands-on support, working alongside you to coach, train, and foster your career growth.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Perform diagnostic inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for residential heating systems, heat pumps, boilers, and plumbing systems across Juneau's unique climate.
Handle critical daily service requests including no-heat calls, no-hot-water issues, water pipe leaks, and emergency system failures.
Evaluate system issues thoroughly and present homeowners with clear, transparent options ranging from troubleshooting and repairs to full system replacements.

Report to the shop daily at 7:00 AM for morning dispatch, team alignment, and vehicle preparation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked company service vehicle.
Participate in a regular on-call rotation to support emergency heating and plumbing needs across the community.
Engage in active coaching, team meetings, and ongoing technical development.
Perform other job-related duties and instructions as requested by authorized management.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in residential heating and/or plumbing service and troubleshooting.
EPA Certification required.
Proficient with diagnostic trade tools and field management software (ServiceTitan or similar platforms).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain composure, deliver outstanding service, and learn from feedback even during challenging customer situations.
