Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heat Treatment Supervisor / Manager to lead and coordinate industrial heat treatment operations, including preheating, post-weld heat treatment (PWHT), stress relieving, and related thermal processing activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of industrial heat treatment processes, hands-on field experience, and demonstrated leadership managing technicians, equipment, scheduling, and customer projects.
This position is responsible for ensuring heat treatment operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures, applicable industry codes, and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Heat Treatment Operations & Technical Oversight
Plan, schedule, and oversee industrial heat treatment projects at customer facilities, fabrication shops, refineries, power plants, and other industrial sites.
Supervise preheating, PWHT, stress relieving, and other approved heat treatment processes.
Review work orders, drawings, welding documentation, technical specifications, and approved heat treatment procedures.
Verify heating rates, holding temperatures, soak times, cooling rates, and other required process parameters.
Oversee the setup and operation of heating equipment, thermocouples, insulation,
