Social Security Disability AttorneyLocation: Charlotte, NC (In-Office Position)Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)The Law Offices of Martin, Jones & Piemonte is seeking an energetic, motivated, and dedicated Social Security Disability Attorney to join our Charlotte, North Carolina office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about advocacy and ready to take ownership of cases while contributing to a collaborative and client-focused team environment.Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience handling Social Security disability hearings or comparable courtroom experience and will be excited to take on challenging cases, develop strong legal strategies, and fight for favorable outcomes on behalf of clients.This role offers the opportunity to not only manage a caseload independently, but also serve as a key point of leadership within the Charlotte office—helping guide day-to-day operations and support the team's success.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in Social Security Disability hearings and related proceedingsReview and analyze medical records and case files to develop effective case strategiesPrepare clients for hearings and provide ongoing case updatesDraft legal briefs, memoranda, and other correspondenceMaintain consistent communication with clients, providers, and staffCollaborate with case managers and support staff to move cases forward efficientlyContribute to a positive, team-oriented office environmentAssist in overseeing daily workflow and supporting team operations within the Charlotte office as neededQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in South CarolinaAdmitted to, or willing to seek admission to, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina1–2 years of experience handling Social Security Disability hearings or comparable litigation experience preferredStrong analytical skills with the ability to develop a theory of the caseExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple cases efficiently and work both independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving mindset and willingness to take on complex or challenging casesCommitment to continuous growth and becoming a stronger advocate for clientsWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is not only a capable attorney, but also someone who is ready to step into a leadership-minded role—supporting the Charlotte team and helping ensure consistency in operations and client service when needed.Interested applicants should submit their applications to: Lauren Greene – lgreene@mjpdisability.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
