Hearing Aid Specialist/Hearing Instrument Specialist - Orlando, FL

Salary range: $55k - $60k + Excellent Commission
Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm)
Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for an Audiologist / Hearing Aid Specialist in our locally owned and operated clinic. The role involves conducting hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing disorders, fitting and servicing hearing aids, and providing patient-centered care to improve communication needs. Day-to-day tasks include performing audiometric evaluations, customizing hearing aid fittings, conducting follow-up appointments, and counseling patients on hearing aid use and maintenance. The specialist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care!
Qualifications:
- Audiometric evaluation and hearing assessment skills
- Proficiency in fitting, adjusting, and servicing hearing aids
- Patient counseling and education on hearing aid use and maintenance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Knowledge of hearing aid technology and auditory rehabilitation
- Current state licensure and certification from relevant professional bodies (e.g., ASHA, ABA) is preferred
- Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred
