My AmeriCorps - Home Page Healthy Learners Fall 2026
Healthy Learners works collaboratively with communities, schools, healthcare providers and families to remove health barriers to learning through screening, referral and access to medical services. Healthy Learners will serve All Pre-K through 12th-grade students to improve academic and health-related outcomes. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.
Member Duties : The AmeriCorps Student Care Coordinator will serve as a link between the student client and community partners, including health care providers, school personnel, and childcare providers. The student care coordinator will primarily participate in health screenings. The member will follow up with the failed screenings to see if students need our services. The member will also appropriately document care coordination activities, which include student medical appointments.
