Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site construction operations for healthcare and hospital renovation projects
- Manage daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Coordinate construction activities in occupied healthcare environments while minimizing disruptions
- Drive project schedules and proactively resolve field challenges
- Conduct regular site meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
- Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications and healthcare regulations
- Mentor and develop field staff while promoting a positive jobsite culture

The Successful Applicant
A successful Healthcare Superintendent should have:
- 10-15+ years of construction experience with progressive field leadership responsibilities
- Extensive healthcare construction experience, including hospital renovations
- Proven experience leading large-scale construction projects valued at $25M+
- Strong understanding of scheduling, safety, quality control, and project execution
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Maine as project assignments require
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working for a general contractor or construction management firm preferred
