We"re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Support Specialist to join a collaborative healthcare team. What You"ll Do

• Process deposits and maintain accurate supporting documentation
• Track departmental activity using Excel and Google Sheets
• Manage incoming mail and distribute documents to the appropriate teams
• Prepare and organize documentation to support accounting and posting activities
• Scan, file, and maintain electronic records and supporting documents
• Provide data entry, records management, and general administrative support
• Maintain organized files to support reporting, compliance, and audit readiness
• Partner with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily tasks

What We"re Looking For

• 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare or medical office environment
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience using Google Sheets and electronic document management systems
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting an Accounting, Finance, or Revenue Cycle team
• Familiarity with deposits, posting support, or basic accounting processes
• Experience working with both physical and electronic documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr.
