Oxford Solutions is seeking a Healthcare Quality Improvement Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with a healthcare services organization in Pittsburgh, PA. This onsite position supports quality operations, regulatory reporting, patient safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates with experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, adverse event reporting, regulatory compliance, pharmacy operations, or similar regulated healthcare environments are encouraged to apply. Pharmacy industry experience is preferred but not required.
Salary: $54,000
Schedule: Candidates must be flexible to work a schedule that may alternate every other week between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM. The position also includes a rotating Saturday shift from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM approximately every 5–6 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting, including documentation, investigation support, and timely submission of required reports
- Review patient and provider communications to identify potential adverse events or quality concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation related to adverse events, quality issues, and follow-up activities
- Prepare regulatory reports and supporting documentation, including FDA submissions when applicable
- Analyze patient feedback, surveys, and quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and support corrective action and process improvement initiatives
- Review quality reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established procedures
- Partner with operational teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns
- Monitor quality metrics, service levels, and compliance requirements
- Support adherence to organizational policies and applicable healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, pharmacy operations, healthcare operations, or a related field
- Experience with adverse event, incident, safety, or regulatory reporting strongly preferred
- Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting experience is highly preferred
- Experience with FDA or other healthcare regulatory reporting is a plus
- Experience identifying quality trends and supporting process improvement initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with operational and clinical teams
