Lead Complex Healthcare Construction Projects

Job Description
- Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, subcontractor buyout, contracts, and change order administration
- Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating owners, architects, engineers, trade partners, and hospital stakeholders
- Oversee procurement, RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and regulatory compliance throughout each phase of construction
- Partner closely with field leadership to promote a strong safety culture and ensure quality, logistics, and project sequencing are successfully executed
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by leading project meetings and providing proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with healthcare construction standards, including ICRA protocols and infection control requirements when applicable
- Identify project risks early and implement strategic solutions to maintain schedule, budget, and overall project performance

The Successful Applicant
- Project Management experience with a General Contractor
- Proven experience managing healthcare construction projects, including hospitals, medical facilities, or occupied clinical environments
- Strong understanding of ICRA requirements and healthcare construction best practices is highly preferred
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts, and change orders
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and coordination across multiple trades
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent industry experience
