Job Title: Healthcare Project Analyst | Health Policy Analyst

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 12+ Months (Strong Possibility of Extension)

Note: Applicants must be local to the DMV area.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Assesses, evaluates, and implements payment and delivery system innovations.

Supports the project leads with all reporting requirements and stakeholder engagement activities to support.
Works collaboratively with grant subgrantees, providers, and key community stakeholders to design and conduct analyses to meet local and federal requirements.
Assists with the review of data and health outcomes; makes appropriate recommendations to the programmatic teams.
Research service delivery policy and payment options at the national, state, and local levels of best practice standards, innovations and trends.
Presents complex, analytical written documents, oral reports and briefing as directed.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in healthcare policy and/or program analysis.

Ability to comprehend multi-faceted problems, and design appropriate analyses to support effective decision making.

Project management skills to facilitate planning, organizing, and implementing independent projects concurrently or in sequence.

Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and skill in personal relations in dealing with persons at various levels, and groups, especially in public forum.

Demonstrated experience directing the development of State-wide health transformation and/or innovation policy and/or activities for compliance with federal programs.

Knowledge and experience in health system transformation and practice transformation technical assistance, including designing, developing, and implementing approaches to improve health outcomes.

Knowledge of public healthcare programs, healthcare financing, and payment and delivery system reforms.
