We are looking for a detail-oriented Regional Operations Manager to help manage the back-office operations of a growing multi-location mental health practice group. This is a hybrid role with remote flexibility and requires working from our Bethesda, MD office at least two days per week.

This role is responsible for overseeing billing and operational workflows across multiple locations, including managing our offshore billing team, monitoring unresolved issues, coordinating follow-up, preparing reports, and working closely with clinical leadership, patient access, and other internal teams.

The Regional Operations Manager is expected to manage the team and workflow, not personally take on every task. Success in this role means making sure work is assigned appropriately, follow-up is happening, deadlines are being met, and issues are moved toward resolution.

A key part of the role is being responsive to clinicians and patients when billing or claims concerns arise. This person should be able to quickly understand the issue, make sure it gets to the right team member, follow the issue through, and provide updates as needed.

We are looking for someone who learns quickly, communicates proactively, has strong follow-through, and is comfortable holding others accountable. This role requires someone who can manage multiple open items at once and keep work moving without needing repeated reminders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee the offshore billing team and day-to-day revenue cycle workflows.
    • Monitor unresolved billing and claims issues, including aging, denials, COB, patient balances, and missing follow-up.
    • Coordinate resolution of billing concerns raised by clinicians and patients and make sure updates are provided.
    • Track open items, deadlines, owners, and next steps, and hold team members accountable for completion.
    • Identify delayed or unresolved issues and escalate as needed.
    • Coordinate across billing, clinical leadership, patient access, vendors, and other internal teams.
    • Prepare recurring payroll and operational reports for leadership.
    • Support psych testing, medication management, and new-location operational workflows.
    • Provide regular updates on open issues, team performance, and operational concerns.
    • Remain responsive during scheduled working hours and work from the Bethesda office at least two days per week.
    What We’re Looking For

    • Prior clinic revenue cycle or healthcare billing experience strongly preferred.
    • Prior experience managing offshore teams strongly preferred.
    • Strong delegation, follow-up, and accountability skills.
    • Fast learner with a strong sense of urgency.
    • Proactive communicator who provides updates without needing to be asked.
    • Strong Excel, reporting, and data skills.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities and workflows at the same time.
    • Experience with multi-location healthcare operations, mental health practices, EMRs, CRMs, or payroll systems preferred.
    Compensation

    $50,000 annual salary.
