Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Prepare, clean, validate, and maintain datasets from various healthcare sources.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business and operational decisions.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and reporting needs.
  • Perform data quality checks and investigate discrepancies.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
  • Assist with healthcare performance, utilization, claims, or clinical data analysis.
  • Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings.
  • Support ongoing data and reporting projects as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools is a plus.
  • Good understanding of data analysis and visualization concepts.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic or internship experience working with healthcare datasets.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology, claims, EHR/EMR, clinical data, or healthcare operations.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy concepts.
  • Experience with databases, ETL processes, or data quality activities.
