Job Summary:
Join ADCRR as a Healthcare Coordinator (Program Evaluation Specialist) and play a vital role in improving healthcare across Arizona's correctional system. In this dynamic position, you'll monitor contracted healthcare services, review medical records and contracts, conduct quality assurance audits, and ensure care meets federal and state requirements, ADCRR policies, and NCCHC Standards.
Working closely with healthcare vendors and facility operations, you'll analyze information, identify opportunities for improvement, and help strengthen the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of care provided to incarcerated individuals. This role is ideal for a skilled evaluator, problem-solver, and collaborator who is ready to make a meaningful, system-wide impact. Because healthcare oversight doesn't always follow a traditional schedule, occasional observation of vendor activities outside normal business hours may be required.

Requires possession of, and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12).
Pre-Employment Requirements:
In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and a drug test.
