    Description

    Our client is looking for a mid-to-senior level associate with 5+ years of experience in the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will navigate complex legal landscapes, providing strategic counsel to healthcare entities on a variety of regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Regulatory Counsel: Advise clients on HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other critical healthcare regulations.
    • Transactional Support: Draft, review, and negotiate healthcare-related contracts, and assist in due diligence for M&A and partnerships.
    • Litigation & Investigation: Support administrative proceedings and regulatory investigations involving healthcare entities.
    • Leadership: Mentor junior associates and paralegals, providing guidance on specialized healthcare law matters.
    • Strategy: Stay ahead of emerging legislative changes and industry trends to provide proactive legal memos and reports.

    Qualifications

    • Juris Doctor (JD): From an accredited law school.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated practice in healthcare law.
    • Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the state bar applicable to the office location.
    • Expertise: Deep knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and regulatory counseling.
    • Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

    Preferred Skills

    • Prior experience specifically with healthcare providers and health systems.
    • Strong background in reimbursement and transactional work.
    • Demonstrated leadership or mentorship capabilities within a firm environment.
