Key Responsibilities of the Healthcare Accountant:

In this important role, the Healthcare Accountant will support the accounting department's daily operations and help ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include:

• Financial Reporting: The Healthcare Accountant will prepare and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Month-End Close: Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.

• General Ledger Accounting: The Healthcare Accountant will maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with GAAP.

• Healthcare Revenue Analysis: Assist with monitoring patient revenue, reimbursement trends, and revenue cycle transactions.

Qualifications for the Healthcare Accountant Role:
