ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:Conduct Health Service orientation with clients as they are admitted to the programMake referrals to healthcare resources in the community based on each client's needsCoordinate with volunteer healthcare providers to operate regular healthcare clinics for clientsMaintain accurate volunteer and client records specific to healthcare services provided in the facilityMaintain a working inventory of healthcare supplies and medications to meet client needCoordinate with community partners to conduct vaccination and immunization clinicsAssist in the coordination and facilitation of Life Skills classes for clientsRegularly inspect and restock all first-aid kits and supplies throughout the facilityCoordinate with other facility staff to provide seamless, high quality service to program clients SKILLS Excellent written/oral/interpersonal communication skillsPrecise attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality of information, people and processesComfortable communicating with individuals with a diversity of backgrounds, income levels, and influenceOrganized with strong time management skills QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or Equivalency required/ Bachelor's Degree preferredSome experience working in residential recovery program Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel and Word)Must be able to spend extended periods of time on your feet (walking, standing)Ability to project a professional image Must be able to lift 50lbs. POSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for helping program clients manage their healthcare needs, educating them about the health care system and using crisis intervention skills to help clients maintain recovery while addressing their health issues.
