    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    As our Health Screener Assistant you will support the Coordinator of Health Services by performing client intake at health screening sites,ensuring forms are completed and health screening results are provided to clients

    Every day you will perform program support functions, including providing age-appropriate health screenings and flu shots, data entry, scheduling appointments, and site set-up.

    To be successful in this role you will be required to work independently as needed.

    • Provide program support to the Coordinator, Health Services
    • Provide community health screenings and flu shots
    • Aid in client intake at health screening sites
    • Provide clients with health screening results
    • Complete data entry as directed by Coordinator, Health Services
    • Provide logistical support for the Health Screening Program

    Job Requirements

    Required:

    • High School Graduate General Studies and at least two years of relevant health screening and program support experience or
    • High School GED General Studies and at least two years of relevant health screening and program support experience, upon hire and
    • Experience working with a managed care and Medicare population and
    • Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, upon hire or
    • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire or
    • Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, upon hire or
    • Certified Medical Assistant NHA, upon hire or
    • National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, upon hire or
    • National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, upon hire or
    • Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire or
    • Registered Medical Assistant, upon hire or
    • Cert Med Asst - MMCI, upon hire or
    • Emergency Medical Technician: CA, upon hire and
    • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
    • Auto Insurance, upon hire

    Preferred:

    • Program support experience

    Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
