Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain systems for regulatory compliance, injury prevention, and risk reduction.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams on health and safety initiatives.
  • Analyze injury and incident data to identify trends and implement corrective measures.
  • Conduct incident investigations and perform root cause analyses.
  • Oversee the site's industrial hygiene program, including exposure monitoring and employee records.
  • Manage hazardous material and industrial ventilation programs.
  • Evaluate personal protective equipment (PPE) needs.
  • Support health and safety audits and corrective action completion.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations, including OSHA.
  • Develop and deliver health and safety training programs.
  • Conduct workplace risk assessments and implement effective controls.
  • Track safety metrics and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay current with industry standards through professional development.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 1 year of health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety programs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of health and safety experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in implementing health and safety programs.
  • Industrial Hygiene and Behavioral-Based Safety (BBS) program experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Familiarity with Power BI or advanced Excel analytics.
