Description
Job Title: Health Plan Enrollment Representative
Location: Sacramento, CA ( Hybrid )
Duration: 52 weeks
Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Job Description:
Requirements:
- Experience with open enrollment, benefits, sales, or health plan member education
- Knowledge of the health insurance industry and benefit plan offerings
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and customer confidentiality requirements
- Ability to travel to different Sutter Health Plan sites and event locations as assigned
- Ability to attend Benefit/Health Fairs, Wellness Events, and Open Enrollment Meetings
- Experience engaging with employers, prospective/existing members, and brokers
- Ability to answer customer questions clearly and professionally
- Availability for intermittent, on-call hours based on Open Enrollment meeting volume
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior sales experience in a health plan, benefits, or insurance environment
- Prior open enrollment support experience
- Friendly, engaging, and self-starting communication style
- Experience supporting Sales & Account Management teams
- Ability to manage material pickup/drop-off at SHP sites
