Health Insurance Account Manager

Required:

• 2 years of experience in the health insurance industry
• Experience as a Benefits Specialist, Analyst, or Consultant
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Applications and web browsers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy environment
• Outstanding levels of customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Positive attitude and desire to work in a dynamic, growing agency
• High School Diploma required
• Life and Health Insurance License 

Preferences:

• Experience as a Benefits Specialist, Benefits Analyst, Health Insurance Consultant, or Insurance Account Manager
• Experience supporting insurance quotes, proposals, applications, renewals, enrollments, and client-facing benefits administration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience maintaining insurance records and client data

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients and prospects in meeting insurance-related goals
• Maintain accuracy of system data
• Support sales staff in various functions
• Develop and present insurance options to customers
• Conduct objective research on market trends, competitors, and product demands
• Partner with payroll department and clients to develop health insurance censuses
• Monitor all submissions for quotes, proposals, and applications
• Maintain and update computer database and records
• Assist sales representatives with development of insurance proposals
• Process insurance applications, endorsements, binders, quotes, ratings, etc.
• Other related duties as assigned
