Our Health Data Analysts play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of Blue Cross of Idaho’s Provider Directory. This position is responsible for analyzing provider data, identifying trends and discrepancies, supporting regulatory requirements, and delivering insights that improve provider data quality and member access to care. The Health Data Analyst partners with operational, compliance, and clinical teams to ensure provider directory information is accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational goals for quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
This role reports to the Manager, Provider Analytics and collaborates with a wide range of Blue Cross of Idaho teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to support provider directory operations, reporting, compliance initiatives, and process improvement efforts.
Level I:
Experience: 2 years’ data analysis
Level II:
Education for Level I/II: Bachelor’s Degree Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is, level I: $66,353 - $92,894 and level II: $78,064 - $117,095. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance).
The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, travel requirements, internal equity, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
